Kabbalat Shabbat & Evening Services
Please join us on Friday evenings at 7:00pm in the Asnes Chapel Lounge.
The refrain of Lekha Dodi means "Let us go, my beloved, to greet the bride/the Sabbath presence, let us welcome" and is a request of Israel's "beloved" (God) to join together in welcoming a "bride" (the sabbath). The phrase "Let us go, my beloved" is taken from Song of Songs
Every Friday service is followed by an Oneg Shabbat as a time for us to gather, talk and grab a nosh.
Oneg Shabbat in English means "Sabbath Delight," our Friday evening services are certainly a delight! and a nosher's dream!
These Onegs cannot take place without your support!
If you would like to sponsor an Oneg, please consider making a $72 donation.

Oneg Shabbat
Oneg Shabbat in English means "Sabbath Delight," our Friday evening services are certainly a delight! We host two Friday evening Kabbalat Shabbat Services each month followed by an Oneg which is a nosher's dream! To begin the evening, Rabbi David Grossman leads a traditional Shabbat service incorporating Hebrew and English with melodies that stir our souls. We also have a monthly Community Shabbat Dinner on one of the Friday evenings, with a catered Kosher dinner, wine and other refreshments. (Reservations are required for the dinners and can be made online)
